Business Developer
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business developer to join our team. As a business developer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our new structure to prospective financial advisors. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business by onboarding new advisors, nurturing advisor relationships, and providing comprehensive strategies to ensure advisor onboarding. This position requires a strong background in finance and wealth management, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to promote our newly designed structure.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage potential Advisors through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. To be the first contact once recruiter redirect the advisors.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand advisors goals and explain the business opportunity.
• Recommend suitable financial strategies to advisors’ future plans, such as retirement.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on our structure, market trends, and the needs of the advisors. Answer the questions “what do advisors’ whish?” beside income” and come up with strategies to improve the culture they desire.
• Collaborate with the team to stay informed to develop a deep understanding of the features and benefits of joining our firm.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to advisors, highlighting the advantages of joining our firm.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with advisors, acting as their trusted person and providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends to effectively address advisors’ queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance officers, branch manager and representatives, to ensure a seamless advisor experience.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of advisor’s interactions, sales activities, and prospective leads.
• Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities, such as attending seminars, workshops, and industry conferences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the financial services industry or wealth management. Experience as an advisor is a great asset.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and mutual funds.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing financial services and investment products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex financial concepts to clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using software and other sales-related tools.
