Branch Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our mutual fund dealership. The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a team, driving business growth, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and advisors. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of the mutual fund industry, and a track record of achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of financial advisors and support staff.
• Set performance targets, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.

Business Development and Growth:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients and advisors.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to proactively adapt strategies and seize market opportunities.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures. Work closely with Compliance Officer.
• Conduct regular audits, reviews, and risk assessments to identify and address any compliance or operational risks.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a high level of integrity.

Customer Service and Relationship Management:

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and complex financial matters.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, maintaining regular communication and offering personalized financial solutions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions that meet client needs.
• Act as the advisor for current and prospective clients, until there is a need to hire an internal advisor.

Reporting and Performance Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports and presentations on branch performance, business development activities, and key performance indicators.
• Analyze data and financial metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement action plans based on performance analysis to drive continuous improvement and achieve business targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Mutual fund and Branch Manager.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in the mutual fund industry, with a strong understanding of investment products, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team.
• Strong business development and client relationship management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance and risk management practices in the financial industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
